Same problem here after reinstalling. When I click on the MW icon, the game starts to load then crashes immediately. Exact words in pop-up: Failed to load snowflake: Meshes/BMsnow01.nif Tried every kind of reinstall, driver and patch but no avail. Game won't start. Install bloodmoon after tribunal. Adobe illustrator cs 5.1 serial number for mac. Try just deleting that mesh. Should be in your Morrowind base file, then Data Meshes. Back it up first in case it doesn't work. The other option is to copy all the stuff from Bloodmoon and Tribunal elsewhere, find that.nif from those files, and copy just it into the core game folder. Here's another thread about it as well. Goty-Problem - Failed to load snowflake: Meshes BMSnow01.nif Dieses Thema im Forum ' MW Allgemeines Forum ' wurde erstellt von Drayran, 5. 2b Error message - 'Failed to load snowflake: Meshes BMSnow01.nif' This is a very common error message to get after installing the Bloodmoon expansion. Unfortunately, there is no one solution to it that works for everybody. But it's still a very solvable problem.Print viewPrevious topic | Next topicAuthorMessagePost subject: Failed to load snowflake: MeshesBM_Snow_01.nif.Novice

UESPoints: 0 Anybody know what the cause of this error is? It appears frequently when I try to load the game, the only thing that temporarily fixes it can be removing and reinstalling, but that takes a long time and doesn't even work most of the time.

UESPoints: 0 That's odd. I already am an administrator, is there anything specific I need to do or any other known causes of the error?

No, I mean actually run it as an admin. There's a difference. Go into the properties for your MW shortcut and go to comparability mode and check RUn as Administrator. Then run it and report back.
Ctually, do the above only if this works: right click > run as administrator.

There are two common issues that occur, post-installation. These may be caused by your particular Windows configuration or the install order.
Diagnosis and resolution of these issues tends to be fairly simple:
“Failed to load snowflake: Meshes/BM_snow_01.nif”
The title in this case is failing to load a data file from the Bloodmoon expansion. You are advised to first try reinstalling the Bloodmoon expansion from the original disc. If this does not resolve the situation, try manually copying the contents of the “Data Files” folder from the disc into your “Data Files” folder in their Morrowind installation directory. By default, this will be “C:Program Files (x86)Bethesda SoftworksMorrowind”.Failed To Load Snowflake Morrowind
“Chunk” errors
These are a large class of errors that refer to “chunk size”, or “too big in chunk”, etc. These errors will mention Weather Chances and other odd terms. These are all caused by installing the expansions in the incorrect order and can generally be resolved by installing them once again in the correct order (base game -> Tribunal -> Bloodmoon).Morrowind Failed To Load Snowflake Meshes Bm_snow_01 Nifedipine
“Failed to load cursor: Meshescursor.nif”
These can occur depending on your Windows’ user rights and security settings. If this happens, you should try deleting the “morrowind.ini” in your game folder, and running the “setup” located in that same folder to generate a new configuration file .
If this doesn’t work, uninstall the game and try installing in a new custom location that is not in the C:Program Files directory.
